How Bahr Tech, operating B7r Ship, collects, uses, protects, and shares data across the merchant dashboard, delivery operations, and driver app.
This policy reflects the current product implementation and must be approved by Bahr Tech before production publication.
1. Who operates B7r Ship
Bahr Tech (بحر تك) operates B7r Ship (بحرشيب), including the public website, merchant dashboard, operational services, support channels, and driver application. This policy explains our handling of personal information when you visit, register, create or deliver orders, contact support, or use related services.
2. Information we collect
- Merchant and driver account data, including name, phone number, optional email, store name, credentials, account status, and verification records.
- Store, branch, pickup, and delivery information, including recipient name, phone number, address, location coordinates, order value, notes, and delivery status.
- Driver operational data, including availability, current or recent location while delivery features are active, assignment responses, status updates, ratings, and push-notification tokens.
- Wallet, collection, fee, payment, refund, adjustment, and transaction records. Card or payment credentials are handled by the selected payment provider and are not stored as full card details by B7r Ship.
- Support conversations, webhook configuration, device/browser information, security logs, IP address, referral page, and consent-aware marketing attribution.
3. How we use information
- Create and secure accounts, verify phone numbers, and provide role-based access.
- Accept, dispatch, track, deliver, reconcile, and support orders and cash-on-delivery collections.
- Calculate service availability and fees, maintain wallets, process payments, prevent abuse, and resolve disputes.
- Send operational SMS, push notifications, support messages, and service updates.
- Measure consented marketing performance using non-sensitive attribution data and improve product reliability.
4. Location data
Precise location is used only where needed for store selection, pickup, dispatch, navigation, delivery tracking, safety, and dispute resolution. Driver-app permissions are requested by the device. Disabling location may prevent active delivery features from working correctly.
5. Service providers and sharing
We share the minimum information needed with infrastructure, maps and geocoding, SMS/OTP, email, payment, push-notification, analytics, and support providers. Order participants may receive the contact, address, location, and status information needed to complete a delivery. We may also disclose information when legally required or necessary to protect users and the service. We do not sell personal information.
6. Cookies and measurement
Essential storage supports language, authentication, security, and consent preferences. Optional analytics and advertising tags are activated only after the visitor accepts them. Analytics events must not include names, phone numbers, delivery addresses, order contents, or other direct identifiers.
7. Retention and security
We retain information only for active service delivery, security, dispute handling, accounting, and legal obligations. Exact retention can differ by record type and written commercial agreement. Deletion requests are reviewed against those obligations, and any applicable retention scope and timing are confirmed in writing. We use access controls, encrypted transport, credential hashing, logging, and reputable infrastructure, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
8. Your choices and rights
- Request access to or correction of account information.
- Withdraw optional analytics consent from this browser.
- Request account deletion through the published account-deletion process.
- Object to or restrict processing where applicable, subject to operational and legal requirements.
9. Children and recipient data
Merchant and driver accounts are intended for adults authorized to enter a service agreement. Merchants are responsible for having a lawful basis to provide customer and recipient information for delivery.
10. Changes and contact
